Uzbek insurers' premium volume up 22% in first quarter

Uzbekistan's Ministry of Finance has said that volume of insurance premiums collected by the country's insurers increased 22% year on year to 134.68 billion Uzbekistani soms ($53 million) in the first quarter of 2015, reports Forinsurer citing UzDaily.uz.

Insurance payments for the period increased 115% to UZS 31.26 billion. Uzbek insurers' investments topped UZS 649.17 billion during the period.
