AssuredPartners names executive VP of carrier relationships

AssuredPartners Inc. Wednesday said Howard Weiss will assume the role of executive vice president of carrier relationships with the retirement of Steve Deal, whose last day will be June 30, 2024.
Mr. Weiss was most recently regional sales leader in the Great Lakes region, AssuredPartners said in a statement.
In his new role, effective July 1, 2024, Mr. Weiss will be reporting to Ty Beba, chief revenue officer for AssuredPartners, the statement said.
Mr. Weiss joined AssuredPartners with the broker’s May 2019 acquisition of Esser Hayes Insurance Group Inc. of Naperville, Illinois.
Mr. Deal joined AssuredPartners in 2013 as executive vice president and director of sales. He later served as eastern regions president and chief marketing officer, according to the statement.
The broker has created a sales award, “The Big Deal,” to commemorate his career.
