Blue Shield of California has terminated Tosha Lara-Larios, its interim vice president and chief medical officer, for allegedly falsifying her medical credentials, Becker's Payer Issues reports. The company discovered she misrepresented her name and licensure, prompting a report to law enforcement. Although listed as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, there is no record of her in the relevant licensing database.
