Gallagher hires former Lockton execs for new Sacramento office

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. Inc. said Friday it has hired Alex Michon and Rachel Burnett, formerly with Lockton Cos. LLC, to head up a satellite office in Sacramento, California.
Mr. Michon, who will launch the Sacramento office, was named area president. He was previously president of the Lockton branch in Sacramento.
Ms. Burnett was named area chief operating officer. She was previously senior vice president of Lockton’s Sacramento branch.
Joe Kirksey, based in West Monroe, Louisiana, has been promoted to managing director of Gallagher’s crop practice group. Mr. Kirksey previously was regional director of crop insurance and joined the company when Gallagher acquired The Kirksey Agency in 2020.
Former Chubb Ltd. personal lines leader Laila Brabander was named president of private client at Gallagher.
