Amazon Pharmacy expands RxPass to Medicare

Amazon Pharmacy is expanding its RxPass subscription service to include individuals enrolled in Medicare, potentially adding over 50 million eligible users, Reuters reports. Launched in January 2023 for Amazon.com Inc.’s U.S. Prime members at $5 per month, RxPass offers access to 60 generic medications, 24/7 pharmacist support, and free delivery. This move intensifies Amazon's competition with established pharmacies like CVS Health Corp. and Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc.
