VIG launches EU-funded cyber security program

Austria-based insurer Vienna Insurance Group AG has established the Cyber Defense Center, a program aimed at enhancing protection against the growing threat of cyberattacks, Reinsurance News reported.  The program, partly funded by European Union-funded program, includes a team of information security experts that can help detect, analyze, and prevent cyber threats using semi-automated processes and advanced technology.
