Slovenian government raises damage estimate for recent floods

The Slovenian government has raised its estimates for the damage caused by the recent floods from the initial €500 million ($543.4 million) to several billions of euros, Xprimm reported. The estimates for insured losses caused by the floods may exceed by far the amounts seen in the previous years, given the huge dimensions of the event.
