BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

XL Catlin sees new reinsurance opportunities after merger: Official

Greg Hendrick, chief executive of reinsurance at XL Catlin, has said that the formation of the insurer after a 2015 merger between XL Group plc and Catlin Group Ltd. has created new opportunities, reported Artemis.bm.

The merger enabled the new entitity to access new peril regions, as the reinsurance segment "wrote significant new business across all regions," said Mr. Hendrick. XL Catlin's reinsurance segment performed well in the first quarter of 2016 as the merger affected reinsurance premiums by less than 1%.
