National insurance distributor acquires personal lines agency

Confie Seguros Holding II Co. said Monday that it has acquired Axiom Insurance Agency.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Springfield, Massachusetts-based Axiom Insurance Agency specializes in personal lines insurance.
Axiom's 18 employees will become part of Huntington Beach, California-based national insurance distribution company Confie. The agency's headquarters are in Hackensack, New Jersey and will continue under its current name, according to a Confie spokesman.
“We are excited Axiom is a part of the Confie family. We have a strong pipeline of acquisitions within Massachusetts, and Axiom leadership will help to integrate them into Axiom,” Mordy Rothberg, chairman of Confie said in a statement.
