BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

CFC Underwriting Ltd. has announced a new addition to its cyber product suite with the launch of an online cyber risk portal.

The portal is designed to allow CFC’s broker partners and customers access to a post-incident response center.

“The beauty of it is that it will deliver individual solutions to individual businesses,” CFC director and Chief Innovation Officer Graeme Newman said Thursday in an emailed statement.

London-based CFC joined with technology providers like BitSight Technologies, Symantec Corp. and Jetico Inc. Oy to provide access to risk management tools, templates, and breach prevention advice, according to Mr. Newman.

Additionally, the portal offers access to a global panel of partners that will help policyholders with cyber risk. This includes experts in breach response, forensic accounting, security services and public relations.

“For example, if a U.S. customer were to call the portal’s cyber breach hotline if it had a privacy breach, then the problem would be routed to (law firm) Wilson Elser (Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker L.L.P.), the privacy specialists that CFC has engaged with in the U.S.,” Mr. Newman said in the statement.

“The launch of our new online hub takes our cyber proposition to a new level. We’re focused not only on providing the best possible response should the worst happen, but also to try and help prevent a loss from occurring in the first place. Our cyber hub allows policyholders, regardless of size, sector or location, to access the information and tools that are the most relevant to their own operation and create a complete solution to their cyber needs from risk management to loss mitigation,” Mr. Newman said in the statement.
