BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

The Supreme Court’s decision upholding the legality of IRS rules providing federal premium subsidies to those obtaining coverage in the federal health insurance exchange is a “victory” for millions of Americans, President Obama said.

“Because of this law, and because of today’s decision, millions of Americans who I hear from every single day will continue to receive the tax credits that have given eight in 10 people who buy insurance on the new marketplaces the choice of a health care plan that costs less than $100 a month,” he said.

: President Obama pledged to work to continue to expand health care coverage. “I’m going to work as hard as I can to convince more governors and state legislatures to take advantage of the law, put politics aside, and expand Medicaid and cover their citizens,” referring to an ACA provision that provides rich federal subsidies to states that expand their Medicaid programs to cover more lower-income uninsured residents.

And, he chalked up the law’s achievements. “More than 16 million uninsured Americans have gained coverage so far. Nearly one in three Americans who was uninsured a few years ago is insured today. The uninsured rate in American is the lowest since we began to keep records. And that is something we can all be proud of,” he said.

The health care reform law, President Obama concluded, “is here to stay.”
