To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Disaster insurance pool proposed for Philippines

Emmanuel F. Dooc, Insurance Commissioner of the Philippines, has said that the country's Bureau of the Treasury is reviewing a proposal for a compulsory catastrophe insurance pool for small and medium-sized enterprises and medium-sized residential units, reports BusinessWorld Online.

The proposal covers "earthquake and typhoon, including typhoon-related flood" and will be made compulsory "pursuant to an executive order to be issued by the President," said Mr. Dooc.
