Nikolaus von Bomhard, chief executive and chairman of the board of Munich Reinsurance Co., has said that the current pressures on reinsurance margins would continue, reported Artemis.bm.
"At the moment, there is no sign of this changing," said Mr. Bomhard, adding that, "price pressure in reinsurance is also unlikely to ease much in 2015." Liquidity across the capital and financial markets "also has a secondary effect of generating very intensive competition in the reinsurance markets," Mr. Bomhard said.
