Trade credit insurer Equinox Global Ltd. has launched a specialist claims service to be led by John Davison.
As head of claims, London-based Mr. Davison will build Equinox's claims service while providing technical support to the underwriting team, the London-based firm said.
He reports to Equinox's Finance Director Vicki Harrison, according to the statement.
Mr. Davison joins Equinox from specialist broker Credit & Business Finance Group L.L.P., where he was an account manager, Equinox said.
The Christchurch City Council in New Zealand is set to take Civic Assurance to court over a claim worth almost $1 billion New Zealand ($759 million), Radio New Zealand reported.
