Turkey: Insurance sector's gross written premiums up 25%

Turkey’s insurance sector registered a 25% year-on-year increase in gross written premiums to 17.9 billion Turkish liras ($8.85 billion) in the first nine months of the year, the country's association of insurers/reinsurers (TSRSB) said.

Nonlife insurers' gross written premiums amounted to TRY 15.25 billion, Xprimm reported. Property insurance grew 28% during the period.
