BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

RGA Global Disability Insurance Survey finds insurers fail to sell the benefits of rehabilitation

Specialty rehabilitation services used by disability insurers to enhance employee return-to-work outcomes can result in a return on investment ranging from about $3 saved for every $1 spent to $57 saved for every $1 spent, according to survey results from Reinsurance Group of America Inc. The survey titled “Rehabilitation Services and Disability Insurance: A Global Analysis of Utilization and Value” also reveals that claimant motivation is a top factor in predicting successful return-to-work outcomes, while workplace stress decreases motivation.
